Muscovites are invited to "Ring Without Words" with Teodor Currentzis and the musicAeterna orchestra.
In 1987, conductor Lorin Maazel created the symphonic suite "Ring Without Words," inspired by Richard Wagner's great operatic tetralogy Der Ring des Nibelungen. Over the course of 70 minutes, the orchestra conveys to the audience the full depth and drama of Wagner's masterpiece, replacing vocal parts with instrumental interpretations of key leitmotifs and emotional scenes.
This time, musicAeterna, under the direction of the outstanding and innovative conductor Teodor Currentzis, invites you on a captivating musical journey through Wagner's universe. From the opening notes of "Das Rheingold" to the finale of "Götterdämmerung," each fragment of the cycle comes alive with rich and vibrant sounds. The program will feature such well-known compositions as "Ride of the Valkyries," "Siegfried's Journey on the Rhine," and "Funeral March on the Death of Siegfried."
The Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, renowned for its superb acoustics, will be the ideal stage for the performance of this grandiose work. Tickets for the concert "Ring Without Words" by Teodor Currentzis and the MusicAeterna Orchestra are available for purchase online, allowing you to choose the best seats in advance for a comfortable listening experience.
