The three parts of the work reveal to the listeners the full power and strength of the evil, irresistible fate that dominates the fate of man. But the closer to the finale, the more clearly the hope for a bright outcome and the joy of existence is felt.

Tchaikovsky's work has a special meaning for Currentzis, so the performance will be surprisingly heartfelt. According to the conductor, Tchaikovsky can be rediscovered with each performance and listening.

Then the concert will continue with Richard Strauss's cycle "Four Last Songs". They will be performed by Diana Nosyreva (soprano). The songs were created in the last year of the composer's life and are filled with a feeling of peace before his approaching death. The cycle includes four songs: "Spring", "September", "At Sunset" and "Falling Asleep".

The performance will take place in one of the best concert halls in Europe - the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Here, excellent acoustics are combined with luxurious interiors, setting the audience in a solemn mood.

Teodor Currentzis is the founder and artistic director of the orchestra and choir musicAeterna and Utopia, as well as the international orchestra Utopia Orchestra. Currentzis is one of the most respected conductors in the world community.
