Theodor Currentzis

Theodore Currentzis is a name that commands admiration and respect in the world of classical music. A Greek and Russian conductor, musician, actor and poet, he is known for his unique approach to interpreting classical works. Born in Athens and beginning his musical education at an early age, Currentzis continued his studies in St. Petersburg with the legendary Ilya Musin, which marked the beginning of his illustrious career.

From 2004 to 2010, Theodore was the Principal Conductor of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, where he founded the orchestra and choir musicAeterna, which became a symbol of musical excellence.
